Something to notice about Texan bands are their predisposition to fly the state flag wherever they go. I first noticed this when seeing Swearing at Motorists. But this isn’t about that great band, this is about another Texas based band, Explosions in the Sky. They are an amazing band. Let anyone who thinks otherwise get a bloody nose right now. Seeing them live is of course best. I was lucky enough to do so in 2002. It was great. It looks like they are still doing amazing performances.
Here’s another song, this recording is only so-so. The sound isn’t all the great. It seems like every video I looked at for this fantastic song had one big drawback, so this was the best I could find.
