People who don't value design can buy PCs and Windows Mobile-based phones. But, with the stats on mobile browsing showing the iPhone has 90% market share among those who actually use their fancy phones, I think it's fair to say you get what you pay for.

QuickBooks sucks, no doubt about it. I have used Quicken for years and love it, then I was forced to using QuickBooks due to Intuit stripping down Quicken to force people to use Quickbooks (They took away ability to import transactions with splits into a checking account).

When I switched to QuickBooks I couldn't believe how bad it is, you would think its from an entirely different company than Quicken, its like night and day. Intuit must have their retarded developers working on QuickBooks.

I'm looking for alternatives now.

Here is what I am writing to my "people"

"I want you to know that I am concerned about the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement (ACTA). I am counting on you to represent me and not corporate interests. I feel this agreement oversteps the public interest and invites a weakening of our first amendment rights in favor of strengthening an already strong industry with laws made to protect it. Please do your part, please protect me."

I believe we can also see that there are more violent crimes in countries without strict gun control laws. For example look at the EU vs the US from 1999 to 2001. In the US we had 5.56 homicides per 100,000 people while the EU had 1.59. This is according to this study. Japan, also a strict gun control country, had 1.05 homicides per 100,000 incidentally.

The fact is that if there are less guns total then there are less guns to be stole or given to a family members. And less guns to be shot with.

Also, I noticed that you cite statistics, but neglected to point to any. Where are you getting this information from?

Want to guess which countries did we beat by the way? South Africa, Russia, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. So we can posit one of two things, either Americans are by nature more murderous than most other people or our gun control laws are not working to protect us.

If you check statistics, you would find that most (not all) firearms used in violent crimes are not bought and paid for, but rather gotten from a friend or family member or stolen. You would also find that more crimes are deterred in the United States because law abiding citizens are armed.

Just wondering...is this utility compatible with the Leopard operating system in Apple products?

Someone lend a guy a hand. I really liked iLas when I used this before. But after the upgrade, I am concerned about any issues.

Thanks,

PS - the same thing happens when I follow the Mac OS Hints directions using Terminal, so it's not an issue with your script...but I'm still confused.
